For the last 6 days at approximately 12:15 AM my WHS 470 has suffered an unexpected shutdown in the early hours of the morning. The following morning all the lights are on, but my PC (Win7) cannot see the WHS server. Pulling the LAN cable puts the middle light out. Powering down and restarting the WHS server brings it back until 12:15 ish AM the following day.
Any thoughts as to where to start looking. I initially thought it was the NIC that had failed but the cold restart gives full access at 1 gig so its not the NIC. There is nothing in any logs apart from the cryptic nessage:
The previous system shutdown at "Time" AM on "Date" was unexpected.
Clues as to where to begin.
