Hi, my new Windows 8 computer, when first built, was able to be remotely accessed from work thru my WHS2011 box. The network connection to my Win8 box was WiFi. To improve network reliability, I started using a wired Ethernet connection rather than WiFi. Now I can no longer connect to my Win8 machine from work. Any ideas why this is?
Related question: I also have a Win7 machine which I've never been able to remotely access from work thru WHS. I can use Remote Desktop Connection to access either computer from within my home network, so I know remote access is enabled ... how do I go about troubleshooting this?
