I am trying to understand something that I am seeing on my WHS 2011 network shared folders:
When I view the properties on a shared folder, on the security tab, in the "Group or user names" list, each computer on the network is listed as Mc-"computername"....is the Mc- prefix on each computer normal? If so, what does Mc- stand for?
The reason for the concern is that the Mc-computers all write permission on the folders and many of the users on the computers are supposed to be read only to avoid accidental deletion of photos etc.
Anyone help me with understanding this...sorry for my ignorance,
