I'm taking the time over the Xmas break to upgrade the forums - there shouldn't (hopefully) be any major look and feel differences, aside from a little bit of tidying and tweaking, but the update should provide some usability updates for both desktop and mobile users, which will be great.
Things may be a little messy over the next day or so as I update the software, upload the refreshed skin and then set about tweaking. Please excuse the mess and keep the conversation going!
