I'm looking for a simple but efficient way to share and centralized all my familly photos.
We decided to store all the pictures in the whs2011 server, with the following hierarchical structure:
[Pictures]/[YYYY]/[MM-EventName]/*.jpg
Now, I'm looking for a importing/synchronizing and tagging workflow.
I'd like that any home laptops could import photos from their camera, and add/edit tags.
Then I need to find a way to add them to the "Picture" folder on the server, but in a secure and non redundant way.
Maybe push the new photo in a "NEW_PICS" server folder, and a superviser (me) will be in charge to move them in the "Picture" folder.
And what about tags? Better use an external catalog or use embedded ones ?
And at last, I'm looking for a visualizer/organizer software too, wich will be installed on all laptops. (acdsee pro/Windows Live Photo Gallery, Picasa, Lightroom, PSE?...)
