I have a hard drive giving me errors in my DIY WHS build. While it does still let me read/write to the HDD, I can no longer do system backups to it. I do have hard drive duplication enabled. There are 5 HDD's in total (including the WHS OS HDD). The failing drive is not the OS drive ![:)]()
. Also, when I look in the "Home Server SMART" add-in, I see this drive listing 3 pending bad sectors.
It is really looking like I need to swap out this drive but my question is how do I tell which one to remove? I do see in the SMART add-in the manufacturer name and model # for the HDD's, but there are 2 of these (Samsung HD154UI) drives with the same capacity and one of these 2 needs replacement. Thanks.
