Hi there,
I'm currently waiting on a restore from WHS v1 to a Win7 client PC using ClientRestoreWizard.exe, where progress bar has reached it's endpoint but the status remains at 'restoring' with an estimated time to completion is "24692 days".
There is 880GB of data to restore from a single 2TB sized storage disk/image, but the Local Area Connection Status on the client PC shows that 1.3TB has been transferred so far, and it ticks on regardless.
My connection is gigabit and speed is 40MB/sec, and I have upgraded Realtek NIC drivers on WHS and client.
There has been one interruption as my PC has went to sleep during the restore (I can't seem to prevent this...)- but everything seemingly restarts fine the interface. I assumed restores could be resumed in such cases, but perhaps not?
Any advice would be appreciated - I'm rather at my wit's end...
Steve
