I have a V1 WHS rig that I've been using mainly as a media server and backup for the past few years. It runs great and other than the occasional glitch, I've been pretty happy with it. I have 6 drives inside.
3 - 2Tb drives
1 - 1Tb drive
2 - 3Tb drives
I'm doing a bit of cleanup today and I noticed on the pie chart on the "Server Storage" tab, it is reporting 2Tb for the System! This seems kinda weird to me. I'm wondering if this is normal. If not, is there any suggestions to clean up and recover space?
Also is there anyway to search for "Thumbs.db" files on the server? My windows 7 machine was putting them all over the place until I turned indexing off. I would like to remove all the Thumbs.db files from the server. Below is a screen shot of my Server Storage.
