Using Rd Gateway For Windows Rt

I usually go the easy route and use the remote page access for logging in from home. However, that doesn't work for WindowsRT because of the lack of ActiveX plugin support. Is there a way that I can use the existing name.homeserver.com url as an RD gateway in WindowsRT on the Surface?
