Hey there,
I've used the "opportunity" of hard drives that showed errors to exchange them and make the transition from V1 to whs2011.
I copied all the data from the old drives to a cliend and then shoved them on the new ones.
Before erasing the data from the old ones to send them in, I'd like to cross check by comparing the data on the old and new ones.
Therefore I wanted to put the old drives into the empty slots of my server (Acer h340) as comparing data over network or with USB2.0 which are the other options would take forever.
But they are not recognized and don't show up. my other old drives that were the backup drives do show.
Anybody an idea what's the matter?
would it make a difference to boot with the drives mounted than inserting them while running?
Thx!
