Replacing Client Computer Backups With Product X

So really the only feature of WHS I use is the client backups for 2 physical machines, and 1 virtual w7 instance.

I use acronis for backing up the actual server (no 2TB limitation there....)

Is there any other centralised image based backup solution I could use? Just figuring out if I rebuilt the system if I'd bother with WHS2011 and just use w2k8 (or w2012)

I could just get an acronis family pack, but then the backups have to be configured on each client, and I do like to control that from the server.
