I have a Windows 8.1 machine that i use strictly as a Storage server (Running Stablebit DrivePool, Scanner and Flexraid) and i have a W2012R2 STD with Dashboard that is a application server ( NZBDrone,MediaBrowser 3 server and Torrent client).
My first questions is which server should i install LO?
Initially I would like the Storage server to sleep when its not being used and be always up between 2am and 2pm. My app server runs 24/7. My HTPC will need to wake up and stay up in the evenings till maybe 2am. What i dont know is how i would trigger a wake up when NZBdrone finds a Tv show and sends it to sab to download and then Drone moves it to the storage server. The other scenarios are when people remotely watch a show via mediabrowser or i start a show via xbmc.
I hope someone can give me some insight
