My first server and first post so please forgive if I am asking the obvious
I have recently setup my HP N40L to sleep (Hibernate) via Lights out when none of the clients on the network are switched on. When booting a client I see a message "The server appears to be offline......." launchpad appears to have not connected (logged in) to the server because if I try to access a network share I am asked for the username and password.
What can be causing this ? I suspect that the server may not have sufficiently woken before launchpad attempts to connect. how can I check this is correct and fix the issue ?
