I posted this in the Windows 7 forum, but thought I'd add it here too.
Found an interesting article about some august security updates that have caused some issue for various Win 7 and win 8 users. I have several PC's, and all seem to be unaffected except for maybe one.

The one PC that I think might be affected has been BSoD'n at random for what appears to be no apparent reason. It has yet to fail to boot, which is yet another symptom. Whocrashed seems to think it's the Nvidia driver, I've tried several, even going back to a driver I hadn't had issues with before from earlier this year, but still the same problem is occurring.
