So I have looked through the pages and nothing is quite the same as what my problem appears to be.
I am upgrading from version 1 WHS to 2011 WHS, mainly due to the C drive starting to go bad.
I chose to install to a new hard drive and took the old C drive out completely.
I am to the point of connecting and downloading the connector software to the clients.
I get a error saying
"A computer can only be connected to one server at a time. To connect to ....server you must first uninstall the connecor from this computer, and then install windows home server 2011 connector again."
Problem is I can not uninstall the connector software from the client computers. I have tried on my windows 7 desktop and vista on the laptop.
I have resolved to deleting everything I can find with windows connector on the computer and still to no avail it will not install the 2011 connector.
I have restarted about 5 or 6 times now as I updated the .net framework to 4.5 and uninstalled everything I can.
After all this my uninstall menu still has the server connector software version 1 shown at 18.9 MB and I can not uninstall it even after deleting every folder and file associated with it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
