hi there,
this is my 1st post. I'm a recent happy user of a custom OEM WHS 2011 and I have two Windows client (1 Win8 and 1 Win7). The backup of the whole system is working like a charm and I've recently tried also a bare metal restore onto a new hard drive and everything went fine (apart that on a UEFI machine I had to manually recreate the partitions on the hd).
Now the question is: I'd like to have an add-in for my WHS 2011 or any way to backup some specific folders and files of my two clients in a SEPARATE way from the whole system backup. Basicly I'm looking for an automated method to sync some client files directly on the whs shared folders but I'd be happier if I can have it as add-in in the dashboard.
And the best would be if I can have it as previous files in the client folder properties pane (previous versions) ... so even under the form of backup it would fine but just the backup of THAT group of files and/or folder. So I need much more granularity than now.
thanks in advance to who'll answer,
my best! :-)
