Questions Ssd Install No File Move Status

I've been having a ton of issues, it's either my OS drive, or my MB is crapping out, not going into those issues, but I just replaced my spinning OS drive with a SSD, rebuilt my server, moving files around, etc, and here's what my file move status looks like. There's no status. stays just like this and then disappears when the files are done, is this common with SSD's? Or is my system, I'm really thinking my MB, may be on the way out.

I should add that I'm moving files around on my spinning disks. the status bar never changes, and the speed is not shown at all just a strange behavior.
