Hi,
Hope this is in the right section. I have just setup Wordpress to enable my wife to run a blog off of our WHS 2011 Server. The issue I'm getting is that I can't access the blog remotely from the internet (i.e. from outside my local network).
I followed the instructions in Terry Walsh's "25 Essential Home Server Projects", however that is a bit out of date now and when it came to the Wordpress setup the setup screen's were noticeably different than Terry's guide.
When I use a computer within my home network I am able to see the blog and administer it from:
http://servername/blog
where servername is the name of my server on the network not my domain name, which is:
https://domainname.homeserver.com
I have tried both:
http://servername.homeserver.com:80/blog and http://domainname.homeserver.com:80/blog
and neither of them connects to anything. Remote access is enabled and I can access my server remotely at http://domainname.homeserver.com so I know access isn't an issue.
It appears that in the setup I might have entered something incorrectly, however I can't find where to change any of those settings, so any help would be most appreciated.
