Hello
I recently got the warning that the offline cache is full, so the Sync couldn't be completed. I then had to enlarge the size of the cache on my Windows 8 client. The client has
-a 60 GB SSD system disk and
-a 320 GB HDD
The offline files CSC are stored on the HDD. I had to increase the size of the offline cache up to 70% of the total size of the HDD. The data on the HDD are about 170 GB (online data, offline files not included).
I also tried to empty the cache (disabled offline files and delted the CSC folder), and enabled offline files again, but the same behavior now.
Is this a normal behavior?
Should I use a larger HDD?
On another Windows 8.1 client with the same user account I have the following settings:
-60 GB SSD
-500 GB HDD
Within Explorer, I see:
Total Size: 298 GB free of 465 GB
But in Offline files I see:
Offlince cache size: 241 GB, Offline cache used 157 GB, Offline cache availalbe 84 GB
Actually I really don't understand how the amount of disk space with offline files is calculated.
