Laptop Doesn't Re-Hibernate After Backup

Hi All,

I have a laptop that is set to automatically wake from hibernation to perform the backup.

This works fine except that it does not re-hibernate after the backup completes. In fact, the laptop stays on until it is manually hibernated. Even the power managements settings (e.g. hibernate if idle for 30 mins) don't do anything.

Any ideas?

Server: WS2012E R2

Laptop: Win 8.1
