I don't frequent this forum a whole lot, much less post. However, today, I wanted to take a stab in the dark and see if I can find a savior here in this community.
My problem is actually turned one-years-old this month - yippee, Happy Birthday problem!
I initially documented my problems on TechNet. I'm not certain, but you might need a Microsoft account to be able to access the link. The gist of the problem is this: WS2012 Essential Control Panel - System and Security - Storage Spaces reports Storage Pools as "Okay" but I cannot view my files. If you want more details or you cannot access the TechNet link, then let me know and I'll provide it. I did not want to impose on anyone or clutter this forum unnecessarily
I realize I'm probably asking too much, but if a kind soul could take a look at the link and provide me with some guidance I would forever be grateful. I am at wits end with this. I've been in dialogue with several Microsoft employees who deal with Storage Spaces and/or NTFS. They've asked me to create images of my volumes to capture the filesystem metadata. I've uploaded this 3GB image to them twice and they cannot read it. Someone is supposedly trying to look at the raw image data captured but I have not heard anything back from them yet.
Honestly, I have only done a cursory skimming of the titles for all the information on this forum related to Storage Spaces problems. I'll try to carve out some time to wade through the posts in detail as I can. In the meantime, I was hoping to get lucky and have someone who might know something about this point me in the right direction! Thanks again for taking the time to read and for your patience and understanding.
