I have an MSI laptop that switches between the Intel integrated graphics and the NVidia GFX765M. I had been beating my head against the wall wondering why after I updated the laptop(s) and had them all setup, that the laptop was constantly using the NVidia GPU when I wasn't in a game. This evening I figured out what is trigger it. When I have the Launchpad loaded in the system tray, it activates optimus and forces the laptop to use the NVidia GPU. I can have the NVidia control panel use integrated graphics for this program, but it appears to ignore it.
I don't suppose anyone here has had experience with this issue and come up with any sort of resolution?
