I am still debating over whether to get a QNAP TS-412, or build a WHS 2011 server.
I already have a copy of WHS 2011, that i was given by a friend, & i also have the following parts from previous builds.
A Corsair TX650 PSU, i know slightly overkill for a server.
Four 2gb sticks of Corsair DDR3.
Four 2tb WD green h/drives.
I want to use a Bitfenix Prodigy case because it will fit perfectly in the space i have.
I was looking at the Asus E5M1 Deluxe AMD Hudson motherboard, for its price & simplicity, & it will not clutter the case.
Any other suggestions on motherboard please, as i see this does not support all raid config's.
I do not really want to spend more than the £250.00, i would have to spend on the QNAPS.
Also if i use the mobo above, any suggestions on a raid card on a budget.
