Can Not Connect New Build Computer To Whs 2011

i keep getting the below error. i have restarted several times and all i have done to this pc is install windows 7 ultimate and the drivers for the mother board.

Cannot connect the computer to the server because either another software installations is in progress, or the computer has a restart pending. either complete the installation process, or restart the computer and try to connect it again.

can some one tell me what i need to do??
