Hi all,
I currently have about 12TB of data, including movies, music and pics. I noticed today while someone was downloading a large (7Gb) file from my server, I got a "disk low on space on C:" error. While trying to find out why I found a folder inside my server's temp folder that had grown to 13GB. After a little bit of troubleshooting I found that the file being downloaded was zipped in this folder.
My question is twofold:
1. How can I avoid low space issues from this process? Can I move the "Temp" folder to a drive with much more free space?
2. Is there a way to increase the size of the system disk for WHS2011? It is currently set to 60GB and I honestly don't remember if I chose this on installation. If it is possible to change the size, would it require a new install, or could i just increase the volume in the Disk Management console.
On an unrelated note, I noticed that last couple of updates have something about Best Practice Analyser for Active Directory services. Anybody check that out yet? I thought AD wasn't available in WHS2011.
Thanks in advance.
Tony.
