I manage a MediaSmart server for a client. Last week there was a power surge that got through their UPS and corrupted some files on c: The system continued to run, but remote access stopped. I removed the drive and ran CHKDSK on both C and D from another computer. That repaired some corrupt entries.
I put the drive back in and now the second data drive is not in the pool. I added a third drive (1 Tb) added it to the storage pool, expecting the data on D: to be replicated. So far Disk Management shows that new drive to still be empty (48 hours after adding it).
Drive properties for D: also incredible.
When I bring up Server Storage I get this picture. The green bar has not stopped in two days.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
