Can't Get Remote Access Working - Frustration Has Set In

I have WHS 2011 working. I can use the remote desktop connection from a win7 client on the same lan to get to the server desktop, I can use the dashboard from a client PC, but I am unable to use the WHS Remote Access feature.

The router is set up properly, addresses 80, 443 and 4125 are forwarded to 192.168.1.50, my (fixed) address for the whs, the address kleinhenz.homeserver.com resolves to the proper external address. But when I try to gain access from a browser by entering https://kleinhenz.homeserver.com I get 'connection timed out". I have turned off the firewall (zonealarm) and it does not help.

Remote access is confitured and turned on, connection shows as 'available'

When I go to 192.168.1.50 directly I am able to log in with my userID. Then when I try to go to the server I get Attached Image: whs.jpg

I can see that this is a godaddy class-2 certificate, but I have no idea beyond that. I get the same error when I go to any other client on the network for that matter. I have checked the certificate on the server with DigiCertUtil and it shows as good.

I have read a good amount of info in this forum and see others having problems, but it often seems to me like they are talking at a much higher level than me. Mine is a simple home server, I am not trying to do anything fancy. I don't know where the godaddy certificate came from ... was that part of whs install?

Appreciate any help on this
