Hi,
I am running one of the first-generation Tranquil SQA-5H boxes with WHS v1: Intel ATOM 330 and 2 Gb of RAM. I can't upgrade the memory any further on this motherboard.
Is this enough memory to upgrade to WHS 2011? Or I just shouldn't bother? I do run the Squeezebox and Plex media servers, but otherwise the box is used to serve files and perform backups. I don't do video transcoding on it, so that isn't a concern.
I'm thinking mid-term of replacing the motherboard with an AMD Brazos 2.0 platform inluding extra RAM. However those motherboards are not out yet and I have run out of space on the WHS system drive. Since fixing that will involve reinstalling everything, I was thinking of just upgrading WHS at the same time.
Thanks for any pointers!
