Running Dhcp And Dns On Whs 2011

I have just been trying to get a DHCP server running on my WHS 2011, but it doesn't work. The DHCP service runs, but when I try to add a server it does not let me start this server. At first I thought it was due to my router still acting as a DHCP server, but even shutting down the router altogether did not allow me to start the DHCP server.
I have found numerous articles detailing to instal DHCP and DNS server on the first WHS, but I cannot find help on the WHS 2011 version. Has anyone tried this? Did you experience similar problems and did you get to solve them?
