Unable To Connect To Whs 2011 From Win 7

OK.. I am trying to connect my Win 7 desktop to my WHS 2011 server but it errors out each time with the following message:

"Cannot connect this computer to the network - An unexpected error has occurred. For more information, see Troubleshoot connecting computers to the server"

When I goto the MS link, the options are limited and I've checked each of their "error/solution" combinations but none apply to my situation.

This is my config...

Server:
WHS 2011 64bit
2.7ghz
2gig Ram
4tb drive system
Fully patched thru Windows Update

Desktop
Win 7 Ultimate w/ SP1 64bit
8gig Ram
Windows Media Center active - used to link to XBox 360
Fully patched thru Windows Update

I checked the name of the desktop and its normal Ascii with no special characters so that eliminates one 'error/solution'

The server password does not contain a '\' so that eliminates another 'error/solution'

I can can access the WHS 2011 via the web with no problem. I can also link to the WHS 2011 from the desktop using the shared folders and even have it linked to where my XBOX 360 Extender can view movies/music/pictures that are stored on teh WHS 2011 thru shared directories via the Desktop.

I just can not get the COnnect to work so that I can integrate it further (media center for recorded tv, backups and management)

Anyone have any ideas?
