Adobe Reader (Pdf) Thumbnails View Problem

Hi All,

I Hope you are all having a great day. My problem is this. I installed Adobe Reader X in my WHS 2011 and installed the fix to view PDF documents in 64 bits operating systems as described in the web link bellow

Fixes for 64-bit Adobe Reader preview handler and thumbnails

Everything installed fine and I can now see the PDF file thumbnails in my WHS 2011 operating system. I have a huge collection of PDF eBooks that I store in my WHS 2011 server to have them easily accessible when I need them where ever I go. The problem is that even though I can see the PDF file thumbnails inside WHS 2011 operating system I can't see them in the web using Internet Explorer 9 32-bits from both Windows 7 32-bits and 64-bits operating systems. Things we need to consider before posting to solve this problem if it can be solved at all.

1. My Windows 7 64-bits PDF thumbnail view would not be working if it wasn't for the above fix. Adobe Reader/Acrobat only supports PDF thumbnails in 32-bits operating systems.

2. WHS 2011 Remote Web Access does not shows PDF thumbnails using Internet Explorer 9 32-bits and 64-bits even though PDF thumbnails are working in all operating systems involved (Windows 7 32-bits/64-bits and WHS 2011).

3. Other thumbnails like JPG files (for images) are working just fine in WHS 2011 Remote Web Access. The only ones that can’t be seen are the PDF files.

I believe it is important to be able to view PDF file format thumbnails when you have a huge quantity of PDF eBook, like in my case, and the easiest way to find them is to directly look at their thumbnails in the folder in which they are located inside WHS 2011 Remote Web Access.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
