Find Files Within Whs2011 Client Backup - Needle In A Haystack

How do I use a wildcard to locate files (by file extension, for example) when I am doing a client restore? I can navigate the file structure and successfully restore a file when I know where it was originally located. However, if I don't know what folder path it is just trial-and-error to find the file.

Specifics:

Daughter's Windows XP computer died. Rather than fix it, got a new computer. Now want to restore her Microsoft Media Player ripped CD collection from the server backup. I can navigate the file structure on the Windows XP backup to C:\Documents and Settings\daughter\my documents\my music and find only a couple of music folders. Her music collection is missing.

Either 1) the entire library was never backed up and no error was produced when this failed -or-

2) my daughter saved her ripped CD collection to some other location on the computer (she, of course, has no idea where; Microsoft successfully obscures the file system for "ordinary" users, so they are left clueless).

I'd like to search all of the WHS2011 backups (there are several from different dates for this client computer) for *.wma files. Finding one I'd likely hit the motherlode and solve my problem.

Any ideas?
