People still running WHS v1 often ask the question: Should I upgrade to WHS 2011, Windows Server 2012 Essentials or use Windows 8 (with Storage Spaces). There's a great post from Terry over here: Build A Windows 8 Home Server
But there's nothing like Lights-Out for a Windows 8 Home Server.
I ask myself the same question. Should I create a standalone version of Lights-Out? Are there enough people who are interested and paying for such a solution?
I've not made any decision yet whether I will create a standalone version of Lights-Out for Windows 8. But you can show your interest. Anybody who likes to have Lights-Out for Windows 8 should drop me a mail at beta [at] homeserversoftware dot com.
