Hello
I don’t exactly know in which category (Windows Home Server Hardware? WHS 2011 Development & SDK?) I should post my message, so let’s try it here .
I’m a fan of PC case modding and I had in my head since several year the idea to built a server case for my WHS, that has the particularity to have a front panel with led bar, led points, text (RGB Leds) and all controlled by software and connected through USB to the PC.
With those LEDs I could visualize the following infos:
What has it to do with WHS?
Well I could also show followings infos:
So my question is, which info would you like, as WHS user, have displayed on a PC case front panel???
Thank you
(Sorry for my bad English)

With those LEDs I could visualize the following infos:
- CPU load (16 segments)
- Network loard (Up and downlink) (16 segments)
- Network speed (10, 100, 1G) (Dot LED)
- Ram usage
- HDD used capacity
What has it to do with WHS?
Well I could also show followings infos:
- Client PC online/offline (RGB dot LED)
- Client PC warning/error (dot LED)
- Client PC Backup error/in progress (RGB LED)
- WHS Server Warning/Error (RGB LED)
- Wake On Lan of the client PCs (buttons)
So my question is, which info would you like, as WHS user, have displayed on a PC case front panel???
Thank you
