I noticed a few weeks ago my server was taking quite a bit of time to do things. Move files, etc.
When I looked at event log, I noticed a lot of
Event ID: 57
The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur.
and
An error was detected on device \Device\DR0 during a paging operation (and DR1)
And
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort0.
This is in tune to in the last hour there were 93 Error and 15000 Warnings.
I'm thinking its the 4200 on its last leg and I want to make sure before I go through the whole process of getting a new machine and rebuilding it all.
If it is the machine, i'm short on cash, but have an account with Dell and would look possibly at getting one of the Dell Outlet servers that pop up for 500 or so.
Any input welcomed.
Thanks
