Hi,
I have a Acer Aspire WHS that has been rock solid for almost 2 years. As of 2 days ago, it would start dropping off the network. A hard reboot seemed to work but only for a little while. As of this morning, a hard reboot has it connect only briefly (while still starting up), but then it drops off again.
I have rebooted by the WHS and the router (Netgear WNR3500). I have a WD WD20EADS drive with the WHS OS v1 installed, and a 1 TB WD10EALS installed. Again, this has been a solid setup for nearly 2 years.
I am a novice at this, so I am not really sure where to start, but from what I have gathered it may be one of the drives going bad? I am a little freaked out as all of our photos are those two drives.
Any suggestions on where to start in trying to troubleshoot this?
Thanks in advance!
Chris
