Tv Archive Does Not Have Permission To Access This Folder

Hi all,

I'm a new WHS 2011 user. Setup an old box I had laying around and everything has been smooth for the most part, but I'm having one problem in particular that is bugging the crap out of me.

Once every couple of weeks, TV Archive in WMC starts reporting failures with the error message "TV Archive does not have permission to access this folder".

There is obviously no explanation of what "this folder" means or what permissions it needs.

I've scoured the Internet, including these forums, for an answer but haven't found any solution that's worked. I've tried tweaking the permissions of the local and remote Recorded TV folders...no dice.

I've found two things work to fix this: 1) Reinstalling the connector. 2) Ignoring it...sometimes it starts working again for no reason.

I would say it doesn't work the majority of the time, but the sporadic nature makes permissions unlikely to me as the real cause.

Does anyone have a clue how to fix this? I have a small SSD running my OS partition on my HTPC...it's crucial the archive work.
