I have a Hp LX195 running on whs2011 ,which is used with my squeezebox and runs squeezeserver.I do not use it for anything else. I did run WD HDD utility and found out it has too many bad sectors and the drive needs change. SMART status is ok but I guess it may fail soon from non readable sectors.
I am wondering if I can change the HDD to a better RPM/capacity one and install WHS 2011 on it using the whs2011 CD I have.It is a non-OEMversion came with server when I purchased from ebay.It says it is a microsoft company store purchase ,so I am confused now.Can I use it to install WHS2011 on a new HDD on same machine?
