I am a newbie to Servers and found this web site. So I bought Terry's book "Building a Window 8 Home server". I built me a new Win8 Server beause I got Win8 for $40. I had bought Window Home Server 2011 earlier that I got it really cheap, but decided not use it because of the features in Win8. Then reading the book he suggested building a Win8 server, but running WHS2011 in VirtualBox; to use the backup features of WHS2011. I bought 2 1TB hard drives(also at good price) and made into 1 Pooled Drive on the Win8 Server , one the big features of Win8 as a server. So I got ready to do backups of my wife's laptop and my Desktop in virtual WHS. Only only one problem; the drive is not in a NTFS format and will not work in WHS. Any suggestions or work arounds would be greatly appreciated.
