I have an Acer H340 w/ WHS v1 and have added a Rosewill RC-505 USB3 card and connected a Mediasonic HF2-SU3S2 RT enclosure. Similar to what Scookie did at this post.

But I'm having intermittant file conflict, which I think are derrived from the drive being lost briefly and returning. A reboot clears all the file conflict and everything is healthy again. But this is too flaky.
I did not connect the power to the Rosewill RC-505 PCIe card. I'm not sure where to get a power source and was hoping it would work without the power since my Mediasonic enclousure is powered. I'm not sure if this is causing the problem.
I had tried putting (2) 2TB drives in the enclosure and it was really flaky, so I removed one and only have the (1) 2TB drive installed, but although less flaky, still to flaky.
I didn't even try the eSata since I've had problems using it before with dropped drives and others having problems with it too.
I've been using the (1) 2TB drive for months in a USB2 enclosure with no problems. Any thought on what to try?
Thanks
Jeff
