I have a HP495 with 3 1TB drives. I have several folders for my media setup through WHS (e.g. Music, Videos, etc.). All of those folders have Duplication set to On. As of today, one of my (non-system) data drives died. Going to the WHS Console, I see the Status of Failing (Check Health) for almost all of the folders that I mentioned earlier. In the Storage Hard Drives, the bad drive is listed as "Missing" and the other 2 are listed as "Healthy".
I've tried a variety of things, but I can't get the files to all appear. Isn't the point of duplication to make sure that you survive just such an event?
* I tried to remove the bad drive and reboot
* I tried to connect to the share and copy the files manually, but I end up getting an Error 0x8007048F: The device is not connected. error message on many of the files. Some copy across, though.
Any links or ideas on what to do next to recover from this? Thanks.
