Well I installed Windows 8 Pro on one of my computers being backed up by my WHS 2011. The dashboard and launchpad seem to work just fine. When you browser a backup set say c:\users, it shows the files and subdirectories just fine. But say I wanted to go one more directory down. You get get an error about the volume not being available.
I went to one of my windows 7 machines and I was able to browse throughout the backup's of computers with no issues. Any thoughts about what can be done to fix this? Or am I really treading on new territory here.
I really need to restore on of my hidden directories for my links since the update corrupted one of my profiles on that machine and want to get some app settings back. I can do it from a windows 7 machine but in the future I won't have windows 7 around to do this.
