I'm currently upgrading my hardware from an Intel 775 socket to 1155. My current OS is on an old 250hd platter drive. I would like to backup or image my OS only and restore to my new hardware including a new 64gb SSD for the OS. From what I've read both of these can be done...but no were did I see someone doing these at the sametime.
Did anyone do this yet? got recommendations for me?
Is it possible to perform a fresh install on the new hardware (with only OS Drive) and then somehow move the drives over and restore my shares, settings, etc?
