H342...time To Toss In The Towel.

I recently purchased a new Acer H342 WHS v1 Home server from Newegg.com

The device has been quite a chore to maintain and is currently not functioning.

Newegg will not take it back, as it is past the return date. Acer's RMA service is horrid and have yet to send me a confirmation notice and address to send it back to them to look at. (that was about 2 weeks ago that I submitted an RMA request)

I have done some upgrades to it adding 2 USB 3.0 ports and upgrading the RAM to 4GB. (all were functioning awesomely)

I am looking to sell it to someone who may need parts or who may have the time and ability to repair it.

Here is the current problem with the unit. It will no longer boot and only a single HDD light is turning on, unfortunatley it is red and after a few new HDDs and a full SYS HDD clone, I have all but given up on this unit.

Please be advised that the unit will not be shipped with the SYS drive, since it has failed (hence the clone). So you will get everything else that was included at time of purchase just no HDD (all upgrades that I have done will be included).

I will only ship to the US and will only accept PayPal as payment.

Any reasonable offer will not be refused. Please contact me here for info.
