My son is off doing proprietary research and needs a secure place to store his data offsite.
Can I install a secure remote FTP server or something on my WHS 2011 in addition to the regular remote homeserver.com access?
If so which one? I've seen WebDAV, FTP, filezilla discussed, but I haven't delved into any of them yet.
Since they all require a lot of reading I was hoping for expert direction first.
I know there is dropbox, Google drive, spider oak, but I don't like their "I can snoop your stuff any time policies"
He needs a secure place to store stuff in case his foil hat falls off and the competition destroys his local data
He would need to transfer data in and out a few times a day.
I have Verizon Internet 50 up/down and an ActiontecGT784WN router which has been pretty friendly, and no blocked ports.
Help please...
