Although I am posting this question in the Add-Ins section, it may be more of a general Windows permissions thing. For Eric Mauer's Client Info add-in, step 4 of the directions states:
The account the services is running under must have permission to save files to the client info folder under the software share.
I can create a new text file in \\server\software\ClientInfo under one account (Admin), but not under another, which has Full access to the Software folder based on the rudimentary permissions in WHS v1 User Accounts. Why the difference, and how do I adjust this? Because of the mixture of user accounts on my client computers, this add-in works for two of the clients but not for the other four.
