I have got a issue with one of my clients and attempted a full system recovery from my WHS 2011. I created a systemrecovery key on an USB stick, booted the PC (HP Envy14 Spectre) from this stick and selected a recovery for a 64-bit system (tried 32-bit as well - same error). Windows starts with an application error msg for "RestoreCDInit.exe" with an "unknown software exception" (0x0000025) at address 0x0050229. This happens also starting windows in safe mode.
I assume there is an issue with some critical HW drivers on the recovery key, biz I have no clue how to troubleshoot and hope to find some help here.
