My DataVault has been acting kind of flakey lately and I haven't had any time to take care of it until now. When I check the SMART data it seems the two original 1 TB disks are failing. I can start up and access the shares but when accessing data on some shares I get the "delayed write" error.
As one of the disks holds the OS my first question is which strategy should be to handle this?
My second question is what the maximum disk size for the X510 is? Is this limit the same for USB / eSATA or can external disks be bigger. My idea was to add an external disk and try to eject the bad ones. Though I guess the OS disk will be a problem...
Grateful for all tips. I have backup of the most important data but would like to recover as much as possible of course,
