I am setting up a windows 8 "server" for small business; at this point I have the server and 2 pc's (once completed will be 3 pc's) with file sharing setups. I have set up shared files permissions to allow sharing of specific folders from the server to the pc's (network discovery, file & print sharing activated -on all pc's, all 3 pc's have the same users & passwords set up, firewall turned off). But for some reason one pc works flawless (I have password protection on all shares) and the other one seems like it does not have permission to access the shared files (it will not get passed the password pop up). I have spent many hours try to figure this out, I even tried redoing the user account and no luck!!
Any insights on this would of great help!!
