I cannot schedule new PC for backup.....PC not available (doesn't exist) on Computers and Backup tab. Running connector on PC seems to work.....get final congrats and reboot request screen. After reboot, log into home server console and check tab - PC still not available.
I can access all files shared on sever, WMC can see and play all recorded shows stored on the server. I can back up 3 other PC's regularly as scheduled without any issues.
Things I have tried.....
Rebooting local PC and server several times
Stopping and restarting connector service on local PC
Uninstalled and reinstalled connector service
Verified connector service starts and runs on PC in question.
Verified no differences in other PC's firewall in/out rules
PC is member of same homegroup as other machines
All PC/Server members of same workgroup
Can access PC in question from server and other PC's in network
Ran connector troubleshooter toolkit and didn't receive any reported errors
And having waited (several hours at time of this request) to resolve any network propagation issues
Any suggestions for help would be greatly appreciated.....Unfortunately not currently in a position to upgrade server ($$$). Will be happy to provide any logs/files requested....
